crowland abbey civil siege of 1643 exhibit 2023
A pleasure to have my Rembrandt and Sicket studies on display in Crowland Abbey as part of the re-enactment exhibit.
Oils on board using a traditional Ebauche method with a Venetian Bole and some amazing frames.

sky landscape artist of the year 2021
After feeling confined during lockdown I decided to challenge myself by taking part in the Sky Arts Landscape artist competition as a wildcard entry.
Filmed in Kent at Chartwell house, I enjoyed a full days painting en plein air. Great interest and comments from the judges and even managed to be interviewed.
A long but rewarding hot day,
